
High-Field Open MRI Performance
Compared with standard permanent magnet open MRI systems operating at 0.3T or 0.4T, the 0.5T version delivers higher magnetic field strength, resulting in improved image clarity and shorter scan times. It features a 0.5 Tesla permanent magnet that eliminates the need for liquid helium, supporting helium-free operation and simplified system maintenance.
- Permanent magnet: 0.5 Tesla field strength with helium-free operation
- Open structure: U-shaped / dual-pillar design with an approximate 390 mm patient gap
- Gradient system: Up to 30 mT/m with a slew rate of 100 mT/m/ms, enabling faster sequences and thinner slices
- Reception channels: Digital hardware platform, typically with 4 independent channels, supporting phased-array coils for improved signal-to-noise ratio (SNR)

- Fiber optic transmission: Uses digital RF fiber optic technology to minimize signal loss and reduce external electromagnetic interference
- Advanced shimming: Passive and digital shimming technologies help maintain high magnetic field homogeneity within the scanning area
